Console
The simultaneous interpretation console is the electronic box from which the audio connections for the headphones and microphone come out. There should be as many connections, headsets and microphones as there are interpreters. From the console you adjust the volume, change the language or turn off the microphone when necessary.
Interpreter headphones
They must be binaural, the interpreter must be able to hear the original speech with both ears, the signal must be clear and clear.
Microphones for interpreters
- Microphone integrated in the earphone. The microphone is connected to the earphone in the form of an articulated arm. The distance between the interpreter's mouth and the microphone is always the same so that the transmission is more uniform.
- Microphone integrated in the console. The top of the interpreter's console has a microphone connector into which a gooseneck microphone is inserted.
- Table microphone. A separate microphone placed on the interpreter's desk and connected to the console with a cable.
Remote
The same system can be done while the interpreter is remote.

Transmission
The transmission between the console and the wireless receivers can be done either by infrared or radio frequency.
Broadcast
The transmitters are installed in an area of the room where there is sufficient coverage for all receivers. If the emitters are infrared, there must be visual contact between the emitters and receivers.
Processing
The translations are processed by a digital transmitter to be emitted by infrared through one or two antennas depending on the dimensions of the room.
Reception
Attendees are provided with a receiver with headphones to listen to the translation. You can select the language of your choice.
